The Open Door of Emptiness: Wisdom and Compassion – (part iii) new recording….

Early autumn…

From stems and leaves.. to tight closed buds… to flowers and fruits… this is the ripening of the potential of the seed…
and however we imagine ourselves to be… our own potential for realisation of the uncompounded basis of this imagining, is ever-present…
as, whether enmeshed in dualistic views or not, we are fundamentally inseparable from the open empty ground of all phenomena…

Whilst the catalyst for our fruition of awakening to this is indeterminate, we have the great good fortune to come across the dharma… presented to us in a way that gives us an extraordinary opportunity to examine and engage with views and practices which put our fixed views into question… inviting an openness of being – free from tension… as our unbiased basis for connectivity

Causes and conditions can lead to flowering and fruiting for the seed…
and this recording of part (iii) …about being in the world with others, identity, awareness and consciousness…is just twenty-one minutes long… but each of those minute has the potential to be ripening…

Note to those with the book:
p.166 1st paragraph…it’s ‘without reactive engagement’ and ‘not a graspable entity
…words are slippery ; )
